IC CHARACTERISTICS:
•CURRENT CANON POINT: After he acquires the Soul Pouch containing Xiao Xingchen's soul from Wei Wuxian and Lan Wangji.
•PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: He is nearly 6'3" and very pale with long black hair and dark robes. On his neck, black lines can be seen, but they no longer extend to his face since Xue Yang isn't controlling him. His build is strong, but slender, and he is completely lacking a tongue (also thanks to Xue Yang).
•DEMEANOR: Song Lan is a gentle soul with a good heart. He has suffered great tragedies and he is dealing with a lot of PTSD, but if someone needs his help, he will be there.
When facing someone with ill intentions, he is likely to lose his temper - again thanks to his past experience. He has no tolerance for wicked deeds.
•ABILITIES: He is a Cultivator. Each Cultivator is taught techniques that allow him/her to fight/defend themselves/others from malicious spirits, demons and other monsters. Spells and talisman are just one of said techniques. Usually talisman/written spells are used to confine and/or imprison an evil being. Zichen, as a pupil of Cultivation, is able to bind and even exorcise evil beings (particularly spirits/demons in this case). When it comes to monsters, however, he must rely on his sword, Fuxue, to expel them/kill them completely.
Using Fuxue, additionally, he can fly for short distances on his blade.
As a Fierce Corpse, though he is not as strong as Wen Ning (the first Fierce Corpse), Zichen is faster and stronger than he was before. His swordmanship has also improved. Now that he is free from Xue Yang's control, he has regained his sense of self (though he fought Xue Yang tooth and nail for years even with the nails driven into his head to control him). As such, his skills as a Cultivator remain with him, but it's far more likely that he will rely on his strength and Fuxue if he is ever cornered or if he encounters someone in need.
•MEDICAL INFORMATION: He is mostly alive, but his life is sustained by a dark spell. He can't talk (unless he somehow acquires a new tongue) and he is anxious and depressed from what he has endured.
•CABIN INFORMATION: His door is reminiscent of Baixue Temple - where he was raised - and the interior is similar. His bed, tables, chairs and so forth are quite humble, though he does boast a nice green comforter.
•OFFENSIVE SUBJECTS: Anything evil/wicked or cruel.
