Xue Yang laughs a little and nips right back. "He's annoying," he says, sticking his tongue out.

"And you're not?" Zichen fires back, nipping at that tongue too, "Count your blessings and don't think about what you've lost. This is your home now and you're not alone."

Xue Yang gasps and playfully shoves at Song Lan's chest as he pretends to be offended. Though really, he's just delighted that Song Lan is firing back like that. "I'm not!"

He turns a bit more serious when Song Lan continues. "Mmm... some of the things here are more convenient. Like how water just comes out when you want it, and it's warm right away. But... I do miss some things from home."

[zichen]

Zichen laughs, unrepentant - and he doesn't let go. Xue Yang is much too warm and charming for him to relent!

"Mmhm." he does not sound convinced and his eyes sparkle playfully, "Tell me what you miss."

Maybe he can find a solution.

"Tanghulu," Xue Yang says with a small grin, "And sweetbuns... and the food in general. The food here is weird. So are the clothes..."

[zichen]

Zichen makes a mental note and nods. Tanghulu can't be complicated to make. Sweetbuns are fairly simple too. He could make a request or...

Try to make the foods himself?

"Does it make your stomach hurt?"

"Nah. It's just not as good as the food from home. I wish we could just make our own food." He pouts a little. He's honestly missed cooking too. Xiao Xingchen had been a mediocre cook, sometimes downright terrible, so Xue Yang had ended up doing most of it while they lived together.

[zichen]

"I'll see what I can do." Zichen ends up smiling again, shaking his head, "You're making that face again. Don't be sad." he presses their heads together, "This isn't the home we know, but it isn't so bad if we work together."

Xue Yang chuckles a little. "If you're planning on cooking, I hope you're better at it than Xiao Xingchen." He slips his arms around Song Lan's neck and kisses him. "Meng Yao was able to get me some tanghulu once. I think he asked his warden to ask the Admiral?"

[zichen]

"I did cook in Baixue." Zichen feels a small twinge of pain at the mention of Xingchen's cooking. The fare had been plain, but it had warmed him every time.

Nuzzling his face against Xue Yang's arms, he then hums into the kiss.

"If I need to go that far, I will. Otherwise I think I will visit the kitchens myself."

It pains Xue Yang too, to think about it. He'd often poked fun at Xiao Xingchen for it, and mock-complained about having to cook when he had actually enjoyed it...

Xue Yang shakes those thoughts away and focuses on Song Lan's lips and arms and body instead. He nods and kisses him again. "Mmm... If they have the stuff needed to make it, it shouldn't be hard."

[zichen]

Zichen strokes over Xue Yang's cheek, his fingertips trailing down his neck. He returns each kiss and smiles when his lover comes to the same conclusion.

"My thoughts exactly. Surely I can make you something that reminds you of home."

It would be a nice change.

Xue Yang smiles, a little touched by that. "That'd be nice," he says, leaning into his lover's touches. "Tanghulu's my favorite." Even if Song Lan's attempt turns out bad, he'd still appreciate the gesture.

[zichen]

"I'll try to make what you like." Zichen whispers, grinning at the comment, "You're smiling. That's much better." he brushes kisses over Xue Yang's face - some playful and some tender.

"Oh no, you're being sappy again," Xue Yang mock-complains, squirming on Song Lan's lap as he pretends to try and get away from the kisses, but somehow - he doesn't manage to get away from a single one!

[zichen]

"I'm not sorry." Zichen smirks and ends the onslaught with a harder kiss against his lover's lips, "You need more of it." and so does he.

This...is part of having a home.

Xue Yang can't help laughing. It's pretty crazy how quickly he'd gone from crying to laughing, but apparently Song Lan is good at cheering him up. "Mmm..." He hums into the kiss and licks over Song Lan's lips, teasing them open.

Zichen likes the sound and he welcomes the kiss, parting his lips to let his mischievous lover explore. The feeling of their tongues touching sends a shiver down his spine and he moans against Xue Yang's lips.

Xue Yang licks his way into Song Lan's mouth, his fingers sliding up into his hair and stroking through the strands. "Mnnn..." He's very glad that Song Lan has his tongue back, because it's definitely improved their kissing...

He had no idea that tongues...and mouths in general...could be ticklish. Xue Yang finds a spot on the roof of his mouth that makes him squirm. But, like Xue Yang, he never goes too far from the kiss.

Xue Yang grins a little into the kiss when he feels Song Lan squirm. He lightly tugs at his hair and sucks at his lips. Desire immediately starts to fill him, like it always seems to when their kisses grow deeper.

Zichen is already working open Xue Yang's robes, eager to run his callused hands over his skin. He also just...wants to make sure. There wasn't a fight. No one is wounded...right?

Of course the wounds that last are much deeper than the skin.

"Mmm let me see you..."

The desire always grows so quickly from how much Song Lan seems to want him. He can't get enough of it. His skin is already hot under his lover's eager hands as he presses into the touches.

"Mm... I like it when you look at me," Xue Yang murmurs as he helps with getting the robes open and off of himself.

Zichen frees Xue Yang of his robes and lays him on the bed. He crawls over him and does a thorough check, nuzzling his lips against the hollow of his throat. Meanwhile his hands caress and search, looking for sore places.

"You're not hurt, right?"

Xue Yang feels warm and flustered under Song Lan's hands. They're such nice, big hands... capable of being both gentle and rough. He spreads his legs a little, letting out a soft, pleased sigh. "No, I'm fine."
