Zichen lifts him and sets him gently on the rock. Then he kisses his husband's cheeks.
"I love you." he pulls out a box that contains two silver pendants - to join Xue Yang's ring on the chain Zichen had given him. The pendants are in the shape of a cat and a fox.
Xue Yang's eyes brighten at the sight of the pendants and leans in to kiss Zichen. "They're beautiful," he says, smiling wide.
As he looks out over the view, he recognized a large tree that grows on an opposite cliff. "Hey, isn't that where you proposed to me?" He grins. "A nice view indeed!"
"This way, you carry your family with you while you fly." Zichen murmurs and returns the kiss warmly before tucking the box into Xue Yang's bag for safe keeping, "Mm it is." he chuckles and sits down, pulling his husband into his lap.
"You're going to be amazing, A-Yang. You always have been...to me."
Xue Yang giggles softly under those kisses. "Mmm, it was a first for me too." He tilts his head up and kisses Zichen's chin. "I'm glad I was your first," he says smugly.
"I never hated you." Zichen strokes over Xue Yang's cheek and down his neck, "That was one of my happiest days."
His husband had been adorable, asking him out so sincerely. How could he say no? Why would he say no? His heart had been racing and he had felt...so alive.
"You deserve it." he answers solemnly, "You mean everything to me."
"And you're mine." Zichen deepens the kiss with a happy hum, cuddling his husband against him. Just then, a little bird with a twig in their beak lands next to them.
Zichen feels likewise. He had been lonely before - lonelier than he knew. Now he has someone who listens to his every thought without growing upset or frustrated.
He nestles close to his love and smiles at the bird.
"Mm they're building a nest. Good luck, little one."
"Ooh. They picked a good spot for it. The view here is unbeatable." He gently rocks himself in Zichen's arms. "Y'know, as a kid, I used to wish I could be a bird instead. I'd just be able to fly around all day and be free... guess that's why I feel so comfortable up there." He nods to the sky.
The bird hops to a crevice in the rocks where they already have twigs and grass stowed away. Zichen kisses Xue Yang's palms and rests their heads together.
Xue Yang chuckles. "Mm, she likes to come with me in the balloon too. At least when I'm not racing." She definitely represents a calmer side of Xue Yang's personality.
Xue Yang grins warmly and leans further into his arms. "Wanna go on a balloon trip once balloon week is over? We can bring food and fly somewhere nice for a picnic."
"Try hard." Zichen growls and bares his teeth, his eyes shining, "Where would you bite me, hm? Somewhere nice?" he tilts his head, showing his husband his neck...his throat.
A shiver runs down Xue Yang's spine and he grins devilishly. "Mm... I think..." He leans in and rubs his lips right over Zichen's pulse point, "right here." With that he bites down and sucks at the skin.
"Everyone? You mean the birds?" Xue Yang laughs as he licks over the bite he'd left. Hearing Zichen moan immediately has him aroused and raring to go, the location be damned. It's not like it'd be the first time they fuck out in the woods anyway.
"Mm... I seem to recall that you promised me something earlier..." he purrs and wiggles his hips and ass.
"I'm not always in the woods." Zichen shivers and turns, laying Xue Yang against the smooth rock. He nuzzles soft kisses over his husband's face, pausing to kiss him deeply when he reaches his lips.
"Do you want it here?" he inquires huskily, "In front of the birds and the trees?"
