"I am visiting a pair of kittens." Zichen admits, smiling guiltily, "I was speaking to their ah...creator? When they came into being. They are currently comforting people in the counseling office."
"No, the one who created them left them here to help others. I won't go against their wishes." Zichen shifts the camera to show a black kitten and a white kitten wrestling.
"Someone here created them?" he asks curiously, only to then coo at the sight of the kittens. "Aww... they're adorable. Maybe it's I who shouldn't get too close or I'll catnap them..."
"Around the time you created our little snake and I created our bird." Zichen chuckles and tickles a kitty belly, "They are happy here. I just wanted to make sure they are drinking enough milk."
"Ooh, that's right. I'd almost forgotten that's how we got them." That had been a fun flood! He giggles a little. "Look at those bellies. They're definitely getting enough."
"They feel like they've always been here, hm?" Zichen soon as the kittens on his lap as he gives them a soft bath with a damp cloth, "I'm glad. They were so small when I first saw them."
One of the kittens gives a big yawn while the other one fusses. No baths! Baths are evil! Zichen chuckles and wraps them in a fluffy towel.
"There, there. This will keep the fleas off of you." he hugs the duo to his chest to calm them, "I heard that there are other snakes looking for a home too, A-Yang. You should look for a companion for our small girl."
Zichen has shown Xue Yang his softer side, but most never see it. Little innocent animals are one of his weaknesses and he is gentle and patient as he cares for them. Eventually the kittens look like they are dozing.
"I don't know if I could handle something so precious." he whispers, leaning back so the kittens can nap on his chest.
Xue Yang chuckles. "Mm... me neither. I can barley handle watching you with the kittens. It looks like you're their father." And it's fucking adorable. It makes Xue Yang feel even more in love with Song Lan, if that's even possible.
Zichen would flush if he could. He tilts his head, looking away shyly.
"They need love and care. All children do." and he does make a nice place for babies to nap on. He is definitely the parent or guardian that is sent in to calm a fussy child and lull them to sleep.
That shy look!! Xue Yang lets out a low groan and rolls off of the bed. "That's it! I'm coming too. I need to kiss you right now. Where did you say you were?"
The groan surprises him and he cocks his head. Then he smiles, chuckling. A little kitten stretches out a front paw in their sleep, hanging onto his robes.
"I don't know... I've never been there." Though if anyone could use some counseling, it's Xue Yang... "Tell me the way," he says as he starts moving out of their cabin.
"Let me guide you." and he does; he gives Xue Yang directions from their cabin to the counseling offices, speaking quietly so he doesn't wake the babies.
"Alright." Xue Yang follows the instructions and soon finds himself at the counseling offices. He steps inside and immediately smiles at the sight of Song Lan and the kittens. He makes his way up to him and leans in to kiss his cheek.
Zichen's smile widens and he sets his communicator to the side when Xue Yang enters the office. With one hand making sure the kittens don't slide off of his chest, he reaches out for his lover with the other.
"Hello." he closes his eyes happily at the kiss and shows Xue Yang the faces of the sleepy babies.
One kitty makes it harder by gently mouthing their little front foot. Maybe they are dreaming about the meal they had earlier!
"Then you should pay them a visit whenever you can." Zichen turns his head and kisses Xue Yang softly, "Play with them and teach them humans are good."
