He arches over Xue Yang and then rearranges them so they are laying side by side. He rubs over his lover's chest to help him breathe, smiling faintly at how tightly he is clung to. Like this, he feels...needed. Wanted.

"Breathe." he kisses Xue Yang's cheek, "I don't want you to pass out on me."

Xue Yang giggles breathily. "Mmm, I don't mind passing out if it's because you fucked me so good..." He nuzzles into his lover's chest, kissing lazily along those muscles.

"But I would worry about you." Zichen argues gently, tucking their bodies together and stroking over Xue Yang's back, "You're very silly, but important to me."

Xue Yang blushes happily and leans up to gently headbutt his chin. "You're mine," he murmurs, clinging even tighter to his lover.

Zichen laughs, muffling the sound against Xue Yang's hair.

"I thought I made that clear when I asked you to marry me?" he hugs his lover tighter, "And when I told you I love you."

Xue Yang pouts up at him. "It never hurts to remind you!" he says as he leans up to nip at Song Lan's earlobe in "retaliation".

"Mm no it doesn't hurt." Zichen smiles tenderly and turns his head, kissing Xue Yang warmly. No nipping! It makes him shiver~

Maybe he wants to make Song Lan shiver~

"Mmm..." He sighs pleasantly into his lover's mouth and then drops his head down to nuzzle into his chest again.

Imp. Zichen melts at the gentle contentment. He curls himself around Xue Yang and whispers for his ears alone:

"I'm happiest with you."

Xue Yang grins happily. "Me too," he murmurs, "I'm happiest with you." Words he would've never thought he'd ever say - to anyone, but Song Lan in particular!

Zichen brings their lips together for a long kiss, soaking in the sweet taste of Xue Yang's lips.

"That we have this is..." he shakes his head, "I didn't like killing you. It left an ache inside of me. A hole. I couldn't forget how miserable you were." his fingers trace over Xue Yang's shoulder, "Then I was miserable and I had no one to even talk to."

Xue Yang ducks his head a little and runs his fingers along Song Lan's chest. "Don't feel bad about it. I didn't want to live at that point," he murmurs, voice subdued. "I felt like I had lost everything. There was nothing left for me."

"Do you think I did?" want to live, that is. Zichen swallows roughly and captures Xue Yang's hand, kissing his fingers.

"You were so afraid of me ruining what you had that we..." he sighs, "We never had a chance. But I watched you. Every day."

"I did..." Xue Yang murmurs and smiles sadly. He nuzzles their noses together and kisses him. "It's okay. We have a chance now. And I'll... I'll make better choices this time." He never wants to hurt Song Lan the way he had again.

"You will. We... We both will." because his choices back then hadn't been the best either, "A-Yang, just...be honest with me. Even if you're afraid the truth will hurt, I want to hear it." he kisses his lover's chin and then the tip of his nose.

Xue Yang smiles and nods. "Alright. I'll try. You be honest with me too." He doesn't want there to be any painful secrets between them.

Zichen arches a brow and then leans in, nose to nose:

"You are a handful, Xue Yang. I want to spend the rest of my life trying to understand you."

Xue Yang grins. "Well, you do have two hands," he teases and playfully pokes him in the chest.

"Two hands that I like to use to touch you, that's true." Zichen strokes over Xue Yang's hip, "But there is much more to you."

"Oh yeah?" So, he might be fishing for compliments a bit. He's just not used to getting them!

"Mmhm." Zichen is happy to give the compliments - Xue Yang has earned them, "You're adorable. You're selfless and brave. You're loving. I'm glad I came here. Even if my wish isn't fulfilled, I've known...you. The best parts of you."

Xue Yang blushes happily and nuzzles into Song Lan's shoulder. "You will have your wish fulfilled. I wouldn't have made it this far without you." He tilts his head up to press a kiss to his lover's jawline. "I love you."

"I do want to be warm for you." Zichen admits shyly, bringing Xue Yang's hand to his chest, "I want my heart to beat." his eyes close under the kiss and he smiles, "I love you too. We will be happy, A-Yang."

"I want that too. You deserve to be alive... and to keep your tongue." He slips a leg over Song Lan's hip, nuzzling in under his chin. "Mmm... I look forward to it."

Zichen sucks in a sharper breath and tucks himself against Xue Yang, shuddering. He remembers the agony of losing his tongue. He definitely doesn't want to repeat that.

"Even if... Even if I get angry, don't run away. Just stay with me."
