Zichen lays his cheek on Xue Yang's stomach and kisses the soft skin slowly. He then chuckles and strokes over his lover's scarred thigh.

"So we'll marry on the deck, under the starlight. Whoever wishes to attend is welcome. Otherwise..." he smiles gently, "It will be just us and Xie Lian if he agrees."

Xue Yang nods, his smile widening. "Mhm! That's fine with me." He gives Song Lan's hair a playful tug. "Mmm, come up here..."

Zichen ducks his head, a bit shy, but he lifts himself nonetheless and presses their foreheads flush.

"We've taken a hard road, my A-Yang."

Xue Yang sighs in relief to have Song Lan close again. He slips his arms around his neck and strokes through his hair.

"Yeah, we have," he murmurs warmly.

Zichen lays over him and kisses his cheek. The warmth between their bodies is all from Xue Yang and he smiles at the thought.

"Are there any wishes of yours I can fulfill?"

"Mm... I think all my wishes have been fulfilled already," he murmurs with a smile as he strokes a hand down his lover's chest. "How about you?"

Hearing that, Zichen smiles broadly and kisses Xue Yang softly on the lips.

"I want to show you beautiful places." he murmurs, "I want to take you away from the cities."

"Mmm... I like that idea," Xue Yang murmurs against Song Lan's lips, his fingers stroking his lover's skin. "Then we'll settle down where we like it the most."

"Exactly." Zichen cups Xue Yang's face between his hands, openly admiring his handsome features, "I want a place where we can mostly live without aid. Trips to a nearby town will happen, of course, but if we want to stay away from everyone, we have that option too."

Xue Yang nods his agreement. "Mm, it'd be nice to be self-sufficient. We could grow our own crops."

A nice, peaceful farming life. He'd more surprised that he wants that if not for those peaceful years spent in Yi City.

"I want to." Zichen strokes his fingers along Xue Yang's jawline, "We can either live near a river or a lake or we can dig our own well."

He doesn't mind hard work. All of it will be worthwhile to just...exist...at peace.

Xue Yang has worked hard his whole life - working hard for something he really wants is no trouble at all. Especially with the man he loves at his side.

"Yeah. Maybe we can get some animals too. Some chickens for eggs, sheep for wool..." he muses and automatically leans into Song Lan's touches, nuzzling up against his cheek.

Zichen won't let him work alone nor will he let Xue Yang shoulder the full burden of their new life. They will do it all together.

Chuckling, he arches a brow. "Do you like little chickens and sheep?" he rubs over his lover's chest, "We'll need a dog to protect them."

Xue Yang grins and shrugs. "I've never had chicken and sheep, so I don't know, but it'd help us be self-sufficient."

He playfully nips at Song Lan's jaw. "Mmm, but only if it gets along with the cats."

"Chickens need a coop and a rooster for us to have eggs." Zichen murmurs, charmed by Xue Yang's grin, "Sheep need an open area to graze where they will be protected from wolves - and a barn to sleep in at night, especially if it's cold."

The nip makes him shudder. "Mm they just need to be trained, love. Dogs with a duty know the difference between animals that need protection and animals that need to be run off."

"Mmm... we'll have to make enough money so we can afford all that. So we're gonna have to actually accept payment for things like dealing with ghosts," he says, a little teasing.

Xue Yang makes a face. "My only experience with dogs were the street dogs in Kuizhou. They were vicious. I had to fight them sometimes."

Zichen smiles and presses kisses over Xue Yang's face.

"Payment? What an evil idea." he teases lowly, "There are plenty of ghosts and demons we could encounter on our way. We'll save our money."

His expression falls and he nuzzles their cheeks together.

"You won't have to fight ours. He or she will love you."

Xue Yang lets out a pleased noise and returns those kisses. "Mmm... the most evil idea," he agrees playfully, "I guess I'm not reformed after all." He giggles and slips a leg over Song Lan's hip to get closer.

"It better! Or I'll bite it back. Dogs get really surprised when you do that."

Zichen nips and tugs on Xue Yang's lower lip, 'punishing' him.

"I suppose I will forgive you this once." he murmurs and trails his hands down Xue Yang's sides, enjoying every place they touch.

"You bit dogs?" he can't help his surprise!

"Or... you could discipline me a little, so I'll learn," Xue Yang purrs, his eyes sparkling mischievously.

He giggles. "Only once or twice, when I got really mad and nothing else helped. They don't expect a human to bite them back!"

"How should I discipline you?" Zichen rolls and reaches out to his bedside table, pulling out a soft rope, "Maybe I can use this?"

Laughing, he tickles Xue Yang's belly with his fingertips.

"No, they wouldn't. I'm sorry you had to fight them."

Xue Yang's gaze grows heated at the sight of the ropes. "Yes... I like being at your mercy." It's a great sign of how much trust he has for Song Lan too.

He squirms under those tickling fingers, giggling. "Mm, but I can't blame them too much. They were trying to survive too."

Zichen hums happily as he loops the ropes around Xue Yang's wrists, tying them together. Then he slides the ropes down his arms and over his chest.

"I'm going to take my time with you." he smirks at the giggling and kisses Xue Yang's bellybutton, "Just surviving is miserable. We can do better than that."

Xue Yang squirms excitedly as Song Lan ties his wrists together. The feeling of the soft rope then looping over his chest and arms makes his skin tingle with heat.

"Good..." he murmurs breathily, tugging lightly at his restraints.

He ties the rope around Xue Yang's waist after crisscrossing it over his chest. The effect is quite pretty.

"I want your legs free." he murmurs and bends down to kiss Xue Yang's thigh.
